【A1】（朝活講座）Sustainable Development Goals
In 2015, the Sustainable Development Goals were created by the United Nations to help create a better world for people and the planet. These goals promote both human prosperity and protection of the environment. The goals are wide-ranging and cover key issues such as poverty, health, education, equality, climate change and many more.
In this class we will discuss these goals to try to understand why they matter. We will consider the targets that have been set for each goal and the indicators being used to measure our progress towards achieving them. We will use recent news stories as case studies to help us see each goal at a community level, not just a macro level.
